Who says an 8 month old doesn't get excited about presents?!

We had a great Christmas, we got to spend a lot of time with both our families. I was fun to see Paige open presents, she really had no idea what was going on, but we did get some great pictures! Got to love the on where she is hugging Dad. Happy Holidays everyone!!

Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Finals will be over today!!! YEA!!! That means that I will start enjoying the Christmas season. Paige has decided to crawl, if it is worth it. Last night I was feeding her some Cheetos (she loves them) and decided to put one about 10 feet from her. She happily crawled across the floor. So I wanted to show Ali the trick. What does Paige do.....cries. Yep, did not even attempt to crawl. I think that she plays midn games with us....and she always wins! Anyways, I hope everybody is having a great Holiday Season!

Our Village

Well I have not blogged in a while cuz nothing much has been going on. So I thought I would show you my Christmas village. Some of you have seen it, but not most of the out of towners. Anyway, this is like my Christmas hobby. Each child in my family, has a village they put up each year. And since Justin married me, he is stuck with it. But he does pitch in and does a lot of the planning, building, and wiring, and then I take over and create it. Each year it changes and grows, and we seem to invest more money and time on it each year. Anyway, here it is, enjoy.

Memo: Christmas Exchange!!!! Please Read!!!

To whom it may concern, (which should be all of you!)

An executive decision has been made. It was voted on and passed unanimously, 4-0. Granted, Only 4 people knew about the meeting. The following topic was discussed:

What to do about family presents?

Decision:

Instead of buying random gifts for each assigned couple, we have decided to buy games instead. One good game. Examples would be: Blokus, Catch Phrase, Rapidough, Speedminton, Scrabble, Jot, Ticket To Ride, Settlers, Scatagories, Balderdash, and so on. Any games like Ants in the Pants, Cooties, Spill the Beans, Chutes and Ladders, and Candy Land are prohibited! Remember, this game is for your entire assigned family. No other kid gifts are required. This is your opportunity to share a great game, a new game, or give one of the classics. The money limit is around $30.00.

These are the assignments:

Ryon gives to Justin
Justin gives to Justin
Shantelle gives to Justin
Shelly gives to Justin
Celeste gives to Justin

If you have any questions, call somebody that cares! j/k

The real assignments are:

Ryon gives to Shelly
Justin gives to Celeste
Shantelle gives to Ryon
Shelly gives to Justin
Celeste gives to Shantelle

Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

I do not take responsibility for this Memo, just for being so dang cute!

From,

Jack Handy

Trick or Treat

This Halloween was kind of dull (thanks to me). We went to my sisters house, she cooked up all kinds of creepy looking food, like monster toes and fingers. Bloody glasses, spiders, and all kinds of stuff. Then we got the kids dressed up and took pictures. Unfortunatly, I wasn't feeling well, so we went home, Ju put me and Paige to bed and played halo with his friends for the rest of the night. But Paige sure did look cute in her costume!!

Carving Pumpkins!!

So while Paige did not really help with carving the pumpkin, she sure looked cute inside of it!!

Busy, busy . . .

Hi everyone, So things here are same old same old.  Justin is busy as ever with work and school.  I am busy too, even though I have the afternoons off, they run away from me, I still feel like I don't get anything done.  We have been trying to get out with Paige more often.  We went up to a canyon park and Justin drove his remote control boat with Paige.  We went mini golfing at Trafalga (which was totally remodled) with her too.  She loves getting out and seeing things, especially if they have lights or a lot of color.  She is sitting up on her own now, but still cannot roll from her tummy to her back, go figure.  Anyway, enjoy the pics, and blog soon!  Ali

Goodbye summer, hello reality

Hi everyone.  It hit me today that summer is over.  I have been back at school for two weeks now and finally realized it!  But i can't complain, I am home everyday by 12:30 and loving it.  Justin is extra busy.  He started his classes for the semester, so he is gone 3 nights a week on top of work and home work!  Paige is doing great, she is getting cuter and more responsive every day.  She seems to be adjusting to the babysitters while I am at work, which helps with my stress level.
We did have a great summer though.  It was fun hanging out with the whole family through out, but we did not see enough of you guys in Idaho. We sure are going to miss Nate and Celeste, good luck you guys.  Congrats to Ryon and Jana (especially Jana!) on the Triathalon, I couldn't do it.  And of course a congrats to Josh and Shantelle on sweet little Brooklyn.  I can't wait for her and Paige to be good friends. Everyone blog soon.   Ali
Sorry for the amount of pictures, I have a hard time narrowing them down to this, I just love them.

just life

Hi everyone I thought I would right to update you on us.  Sadly not much is going on.  Paige is as cute as ever and just turned 4 months.  (She got her shots today and is not a happy camper, poor thing.)  I am going back to work on the 12th. :(  I have mixed feelings about it, excited for something to do, but sad to leave Paige.  Justin is the cutest Dad ever (sorry Josh and Ryon) it is so fun to see him with his little girl.  He is also working too hard at work.  I truly realized that when he started to bless the food the other night and instead of starting the prayer with a traditional, "Dear Heavenly Father", he chose to say, "Thank you for calling Manpower".  I laughed for about 10 minutes!  Anyway things are good here and hope everything is good everywhere else!

rolling around

Hi everyone, So how come I got bugged to blog for forever and now that I do no one else ( minus Shantelle) does?  (I guess Shelly is pretty good at it too) But the rest of you, shame, shame shame!  So Paige has been getting pretty active, she is constantly making happy screaming noises and loves to play with her toys.  She had been trying really hard lately to roll over, but her arm is always in the way.  On Saturday I told Justin that she would do it when we were not looking.  So of course, Sunday I put her on her back and went to the kitchen, came back and she was on her stomach!  I couldn't believe, the little stinker.  But we did see it happen later that day, it is so fun watching her grow and learn.  She sure loves her Mom, can you tell from the pictures? Happy with me, not so much with Dad, hee hee hee.  We love you guys.
